Sweden’s largest and most famous theme park Liseberg open its doors in mid-november each year with a lot of exciting shows, events and a traditional christmas market. In the brief from the agency, it was clear that they wanted to replicate part of the title sequence from Game of Thrones but with attractions coming out of the ground. From a production-perspective, we modelled the whole theme park in 3D from scratch in correct proportions, turned on hundred of lights to replicate the lightning conditions and added a lot of snow. The hero-shot with the Ice princess was solved by shooting her against a mobile greenscreen in an Ice Hockey-rink, and the comping her into the film.
